I did some birds tonight in my watercolour sketchbook whilst watching and listening to you. I just got a set of watercolour paints in pastel shades, and painted the birds with them. At first my husband wondered where the roosters were and then in a few minutes he started crowing and as always, it made us happy. My husband sometimes refers to you as the “rooster lady” so he knows which channel I’m referring to when I share with him about the various videos I watch😊. I’m getting a little better at drawing birds, I’m happy to say.

Diane, I love all your tutorials, but I really want to paint this one. I even ordered the A Gallo watercolors. However, I have tried to download the sketch several times without success. You are my favorite person on KZbin! So please understand that this is not criticism just an observation and I’m sure it arises out of some kind of disability I possess…. Here goes. It’s the background music. Is this something new for you because I don’t remember it from most of your videos. Once I hear it I can’t not hear it and it starts to irritate me for some reason. I think because I’m trying to listen to you and the music distracts. I’d so much rather listen to your rooster and other farm sounds in the background. I’m probably the only one who’s said anything because I’m so sensitive but I just wanted you to know and of course I respect your right to do whatever you want. It won’t stop me watching and enjoying your work. Thank you!

Thanks Val, so glad you are enjoying the videos. We have been thinking about the music element and whether or not to continue using it. It is a lot of work to add music successfully to any video and we have often wondered whether it is worth it. We have gone back and forth over the last year between adding it, not adding it and adding it in part. Interesting to get your feedback on it. We have decided to leave the music off for a while and see what the effect is on our viewership, so thanks very much for your input and support, and enjoy the upcoming videos, music-free!!!!
