So beautiful!! I’d be hard pressed to decide which one to do….so I’ll definitely be attempting all three 🙂 And you use that black! It’s a pet peeve of mine when people say only true artists mix their own colours (I hear it in the painting and hairdressing worlds) I believe whether you use premixed colours or mix from the basic three… you are still an artist and shouldn’t be discredited for a personal choice. That being said, I do think too that everyone should learn the basics of colour theory and how to mix their own. Then you’d have the knowledge of mixing from primary colours or say if you want to take sap green and mix it into a more olive shade. I shall now step down from my soapbox 😋 I hope you have a great day and keep the videos coming!

don’t be shy, the sooner you try it the less intimated you will be. A paint circles or whatever but do it everyday. That’s my big mistake

Great little watercolour cards. Hand painted cards are always much appreciated. Just one little thing, if you want your cards to stand up for display, you need to make a proper fold by using a ruler and ball ended tool then, after folding with the resulting groove on the OUTSIDE, press the fold firmly by running a bone folder or just a knife or spoon handle along the edge. After all the effort of painting a personal card it is such a shame if it won’t stand up.

Awesome "Floral Friday" tutorial! You even demonstrated how to make greeting cards by creating a space for the word(s). I was just fascinated with the plain notecards with the small original watercolor painting design (still am). :) Lesson: Learn how to enjoy mixing colors. That I will have to learn. Right now, I'm intimidated. Looking forward to the next tutorial. 😘

Oh Wow! Love all 3 cards. Such pretty colors and layouts. I’m getting ready to order a couple of the brushes. Which should I get, the Neptune or Velvet Touch # 8? This should be called HARD floral cards 😭😭😭 so difficult and to add to my despair my tape ripped my paper 😕 and your colours are so much more vibrant than mine (I’m using winsor and Newton cotman!!). Oh and I ended up with way too many spaces. Ugh! I will try again tomorrow!

I'm trying to find the Arches 100% cotton bee watercolor paper 7x10 on Jerry's Artorama website without any luck. Any suggestions?

Heather Robbins if you live near a Hobby Lobby, they have the large sheets of Arches watercolor paper. I bought one, it was $7.99, then used the 40% off coupon. Then I cut the sheet into 18 5x7 sheets, so not too expensive that way, just a little more work.
