I so enjoy doing mountain “ranges” but as a beginner my paper starts to dry faster than I can paint! If mist it then will get speckles (try to dip in clean water) dab on paper towel and any tips on how to keep your good cotton paper wet longer (practice) and more practice & ty for these videos.

Problem : Paper dries fast. Follow these steps: 1. Be ready with needed pigment on palette. 2. Use big mop brush. Size above 14.( using big mop brush covers large area while painting and it holds more pigment) 3. Wet the paper couple of times. But make sure there is no pool of water. Suggestion: Use 100%cotton 300gsm paper. Fabriano artistico brand is cheap and best( I'm using it).

@@PremaWatercolor Do have that large of brush and paint on my lap (do smaller ones) & getting that paper just right wetness & your paint consistency all matters but enjoying learning & didn’t play Mozart first time on piano! Ty!!
