Hola Lisa, what a pleasure! please feel free to CASE this project. The washi tape is from "Watercolor whishes" (card kit), it is navy blue stripes....I would say Floral Boutique Designer Washi Tape will make the job but this also depend on the colours you apply to the cards and what you have available. Give it a try and see how it looks. x hugs Bibi

The second coat should have been in the insides of the petals . The lighter area is ALWAYS on the outside because it’s the part that gets the most sun.

Hi P, this never aimed for realism and it is far from perfection 😌 the highlights or lighter areas of an image NO ALWAYS goes at the edges. Impressionist will tell you that too. There is no an « ALWAYS » a way to do this or to do that in the creative universe. It all depends on how each individual person want to use the supplies and what they want to achieve . This is card making and It is just a very quick and simple idea to add a wash of colour to heat embossed images x

Please be careful...often your music (which I love) comes on much louder than your voice...always a shock.
