This is so beautiful! I tried it and it came out pretty, but my trees didn’t have those blooms from the salt. Just a few blooms here and there that didn’t really look like trees. I’m a complete watercolor beginner and would appreciate if you could point out why ☺️

Thank you! 🩵 With the salt technique, if you sprinkle the salt when the paint has started drying, the blooms won't appear clearly. So, try sprinkling salt when the paper is wet. The right condition is when you look at the paint, it will have a glossy, smooth appearance, but there shouldn't be any pools of water on the paper. This is the right time to sprinkle the salt. Hope this helps!

I wouldn't. You would be making money from the hard work and practice someone put into their painting. Even one's photographs are protected by copyright laws.

The salt effect didn't work for me. The paper was still wet, no puddles, but all I got is a few hardly visible tiny muddy dots.
