Oh my yes. I'm ready to get these on my paper. I don't have any cadmium paints at all, so I assume it's fine to use regular colors here. These are so nicely done, simple yet very effective and beautiful. I get a bit frustrated when the screen goes off at an angle for a bit. I'm quite nervous painting yet so I suppose that will get better the more I paint. Thank you for your videos Harriet. They're very much appreciated by me as I'm as scared as can be to try any painting. You are such a good good teacher. Easy to follow and we get good results

You’ll be fine with your paints Marlene. The reason we have the side angle is usually my hand and angle of the brush is concealing the painting from the top in that moment

Thanks for this progression study Harriet. I love it and will give it a go. I too, have had a challenge painting trees, but loved the way my weeping willow came out from your summer tutorial, so there is hope. Thanks for all the tips about painting the branches. Must remember not to get them too large off the trunk, and add more downward branches. It’s all just practicing isn’t it. Blessings to you!
