Tim Xman Yeah they're really inconsistent. That first enemy I run past that's coming out of the toilet sometimes gets me in the back, other times my team take him out. I think the whole mission never plays the same twice, it's so random.

mack daddy slim Sometimes he does get me in the back, so I just restart & try again until I can run past him & my team take him out. It helps if you strafe to the right as you pass him. It took me over 50 tries to do this mission.

mack daddy slim I think the strafe right might help with the enemy in the toilet not killing you so often. This mission is so random though, it's laughable.

The major problem with this mission is part of the success is how competent your AI allies are. Which from one take to the next can range drastically. Throw in the fact that you have to play perfect and get a significant amount of luck to beat the mission. I watch 3 different ways to beat this mission and for two days I tried each one over and over again and failed. I tried the way I beat it on the original on 360 and I beat it in 2 takes... You just got to hope everything works correctly.

After a couple days attempting this, I just glitched it using the recruit method, kill hostage, save and quit, start on veteran, quit game, go back in and resume. Look it up guys. Nothing says 'fuck you Activision' than that XD

I've been trying to complete this mission for about 4 hours now and around what I think is 30 attempts. As soon as I get to the stairs and throw the flash, if I throw it to the left, the bunch of enemies huddled together kill me as soon as I run out through the second level, if I throw the flash to the right, the couple of enemies on the left always kill me. How on earth did you manage to get through it without the enemies on the right hand side on the second level shooting at you? This mission is so bad.

This games hardest difficulty should be renamed bullshit because of all the bullshit that I have to deal with. Not good enough hit detection (to survive a difficulty like this), idiot teammates who have horrible aim, basically aimbot enemy's that knows your exact location, the flash bangs only stun them for a second or 2 while you get stunned for like 5 seconds. This is literally the only game I had to lower from the most difficult setting in order to complete a mission like this.

It really is complete fucking bullshit. Enemies will literally sit there and fucking wait for you to turn the corner to blast you. Its really not that veteran is difficult its that its cheap as fuck for the NPCs. If they aren't shooting you in the head from 30 miles out or waiting for you to turn a corner to shoot you with a shotgun they are lobbing 30 grenades your way. Fuck this game so much.

I'm convinced that after about 50 attempts, the system starts throwing you a few easier enemies every now & then. It's a bitch of a mission though.

Tim Xman No mate I haven't. I think W@W was my first platinum, either that was or Fallout 3. I thought W@W was harder than MWR to platinum.
