Easy way to bypass an IGNITION. (Suzuki GSXR, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Etc.

Probably the easiest most direct ignition hack if you need to hotwire any motorcycle, ATV, four wheeler, dirt bike, quad, jet ski, pretty much anything with a simple ignition. We're cracking the ignition code in this quick DIY tutorial video. If you lost your key or you bought something without a key like me, or you need to bypass your ignition. Stumbled upon this video when I was dealing with my 2005 Suzuki BLVD that has a non-rotating ignition switch right out of the blue. A dealer wanted nearly 300.00 plus 2 hrs of labour! Followed your steps and it all came out great. I was able to pull mine out with needle nose pliers- so no grinding. Put the ignition back together and voila! Thanks so much for the tip! One more tip - once you do this to your ignition, your key will very likely fall out when you are driving - so once the bike starts, take out the key and put it in your pocket! Then when you stop take it out and turn off the ignition!

Im going to try it on my 1983 and my friend son lost the key. I hope it work on my Harley shovelhead. Really dont want to pay 200. Plus labor. I also have to get my tool game up 😢

Hey man how would u go about bar lock tho i lost my keys and my bikes bar locked and i dont want to break the inginition on accident trying to break the lock if i get the lock cylinder out of the ignition and grinded it down like you would that make it possible start the bike like u did but aslo get my bar lock disengaged its a gsxr 650

I've never went up against a bar lock, that would be my default probably, the angle grinder.

It should as long as the key doesn't have a chip or it's not a battery type key

@@crazyDIYguy when I got this bike, the guy had lost the key for over a year so he tried hotwiring it. He twisted all those wires together. so trying to start it what exactly would that fry?

@@DivergentSoul check fuses, might have fried the ECU, you can probably pick another one up on eBay cheap.
