Emma loved the episode. She was excited to see the skipjack. She also wants to make another clip for the show. Big fans here in Indiana. Keep up the great work!

I really like the sunfish you caught. I don't know that we have that species here in Texas but the pumpkinseed are also very pretty.

Strangest thing that bites the gulp minnows up here in the Northwest are juvenile chinook salmon. I’ve caught several in the spring!

I agree it is FUN catching those Bait Fish! Following your lead, I and my Grandkids have had great success over the past few months catching lots of Bluegill using Gulp Minnows and a similar rig as yours. Not messy like live worms and they are pretty durable. Enjoyed the video -thanks!

Gulp minnow fun. They're a staple for me and the family now thanks to your channel! They always get something to bite! Love all the skipjack. So shiny! I can see why the fish love that chrome rattle trap in videos past!!!

Thanks for taking us with you on this beautiful day. The weather is awesome this week. Did you hear about the guy that caught the catfish on the cumberland river. He has submitted it for a new state record. I think it weighed 148lbs!

Nice assortment of fish. My last time fishing had a lot of those two to four inch bluegills. I was finally able to find a few crappie that would have been in the keeper range if I was looking to do that. Always fun when the fish are biting regardless of the size.

Hey, this was enlightening! If you're open to the idea, I'd love to see you do video catching bait and then using the bait to fish. I could learn a lot about how you set up the rig with the live bait. Great video!

Fun video. I enjoy fishing for the little guys. I use a #16 hook on 2 lb test line with a trout magnet bobber. With that rig I can catch really small chubs, minnows, and other bait fish. I use worms for bait.🎣🐟🪱

Shame that there's no skipjack here in the NC waters I fish, wish I was able to use them for catfish, oh well. I'm still happy I can get some nice size ones on bluegill. They love that.

What about using a small pair of needle nose pliers. My hands cramp easily and I use them to land wires on control panels they work for that
@lsmftwitchell19392 жыл бұрын
@@bradvemmer1416 I have tried both hard and soft pliers. I get it done right after awhile. Hoped someone might have found a slick way to get it done easily. I may clean one up and make a half cast to hold one side while threading the hook.
