Shellcracker have long been my favorite fish to catch and to eat. I found them in my backyard (lakefront) last year and had the best time, sitting in my little boat in the lily pads, catching dinner every 3rd day. Unfortunately, they started draining my lake at the end of summer, so I'm looking for somewhere else to find these beauties. Love how you share your methods of finding them!
