I've noticed when we get heavy rain 🌧 here in Nashville the Shellcracker school up shallow and close to the bank Richard!!! A couple videos back on my KZbin channel I was catching BIG Shellcracker about a foot off the bank in high water conditions

My river looks good this week. It is tempting to set-up for bank fishing but I will use my kayak in those areas I came across. It is near a public access area and some people make a dog-gawn mess coming in after I leave. Have a good day, RG!

I take those with a tiny red wiggler or a tiny slice of corn. Like a half a kernel I fill up the cooler. Just a drop of garlic.

I catch too many bass/channel cats when I'm fishing for bluegil, perch, crappie. Usually with the same fishing rod. So I use 6# mono. I couldn't imagine using 2# test.
