I quit drawing 2 years ago because of work and I wasn't anything more than an amateur. I still am but I'm trying to learn everything from the beginning. Thank you for spreading your knowledge to aspiring artists, it means the world to us!

Ryan man thank you brother. I’ve been releasing some short stories lately and I still try to just soak up all that I can. I love this stuff, love your work, you are one of my hero’s in comics and art in general!

Great explanation of how the chest, although connected via the abs, moves independently from the pelvis.

@RyanBenjamin thanks brother, I’m a huge fan of the channel, a lot of people keep telling me to study anatomy constantly and everything else which can be definitely helpful but, sometimes I just want to learn how to draw my favorite comic book superheroes and things like that so, thanks to you I can just practice my art skills through just drawing my favorite comic book characters instead and I hope you do more of these guides as well

Very Great Guide! I finally found something on KZbin that I understand. I can't draw at all, but I managed to scribble something with your material. I heard and then also saw in the description of the video about the website with the course, it's brilliant. If I wasn't broke, I would have signed up right away. :( Anyway, thank you for your work, I'm coming back to watch more videos. Regards!

Thankyou for posting this. I have the hardest time making characters in perspective. Straight-on is no problem, but in perspective is very difficult and I haven’t had a good way to divide the figure

Awesome! Does the program in your gum road have anything on drawing more arms from the sockets and can u do a video on how u do heads with the torso connected?

Yes. I am doing more videos to demonstrate this on how to apply it to many forms including animals and robots.

This is great! Do you follow any approximate proportions for the place you subdivide?
@ryanbnjmnart Жыл бұрын
Yes. I target the general area depending on the characters proportions. Slender, thick, feminine, or muscular. Some characters hade certain features that go beyond that, but the core stays the same or in the same general area.

In what moment you stop to use the cilindres and these chapes, as a profesional artist…?. It’s a matter of time and practice….?. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience
@ryanbnjmnart6 ай бұрын
I never stop using the cylinders. I just modify it as I go. Part of the strategy is in my head and the other part is on paper(what you see in the video). It's like I am chasing a ball until I catch it. At some point I am so familiar with the chase, I know where the ball is going so I just immediately catch it. This video actually is slow method of how I really draw.
