@@HayChaffandSawdust1. I was waiting for a sandwich at the local country store when the Chef asked the customer ahead of me what it was that he had ordered, and added that he had CRS. Well……. I immediately thought that he had some dreadful medical condition and y’all know that Everything is in initials nowadays, us humans having so much to do in our busy lives that we have been forced to stop and try to remember……remember remember (?) what the specific words that this particular sentence of letters were at this particular moment in time……I digress, sorry, so I inquired about the medical term that he was referring to. He told me. I didn’t have to cogitate for any length of history at all to acknowledge that I also was a recipient of the condition 😢. While slapping together one of the best sandwiches in all creation and conversing simultaneously he let out his regular day employment which threw me for a loop, enginerd for IBM. Now that one I actually remember. Funny who you can run into at a country meat market, they had the best sandwiches in the state before the owners sold the place and retired 😮. Half mile down from the shop and fed you righteously for little money and was happy to do it, didn’t last six months of “New Management “. But twenty years later I still remember how good it was, and the forgetful cook. Good catch on the bearing, and I have always thought of Torrington being one skookum spinny giz.

@wrstew1272 Those vittle places are hard to find... look for a building that is in-need of repair and that has a parking lot full of cars and a line!! Those are the ones that are driven by passion; nothing wrong with a nice profit, but that COMES WITH the passion. Sound like your sammich maker was doing it for stress relief. And, another thing you touched upon; don't assume someone is an idiot because he is just standing there putting two slices of bologna between two slices of bread. I would say this torrington spinny thing has been doing its job for ~30 years out in the weather. It's earned its retirement!!

Reminds me of the feller that went to the doc and the doc said "I got bad news and worse news; first you have Alzheimer's and it's untreatable; second, you have Cancer, but we can treat it with chemo, pills, and other treatments" The old feller started smiling and said "Well, at least I ain't got Alzheimer's!!"
