Great vid as always man!! I know you leveled last season, Do you plan to level this year?? Keep it up!!
@LawnInsider2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Brian! I’ll do some sort of leveling project this year. I don’t know if it’ll be to the degree that they have been in the past though.

Where did you purchase the adapter and nozzle? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Do you have an updated link to the teejet caps? There is an error message on the link.

Hey Megan, apologize for the slow reply. I tried the links and they seem to be working? Hopefully it works on your end as well!

What setting do u use for your flow rate Max or low on your ryobi I just purchased one from home depot the newer version and where can I purchase the nozzle setup u got
@LawnInsider2 жыл бұрын
I have the older model so it only has one setting. I would actually recommend just using the tee jet tips I use and not the adapter (due to lower spray pressure). Links are in the description. Thanks!

I found a bag of scotts weed and feed on a shelf in my garage (left over from last season) , do you think its too late to put that down? I'm up in Georgetown, I'd just really hate to throw it away 💸

No sir, definitely not too late. You should be good to go 👍

Well, I purchased the teejet nozzles for my Kobalt 4 gallon backpack sprayer but unfortunately the TeeJet nozzle is too big for the stock housing. Looks like I may have to purchase the quick cap adapter and quick cap. How bad does it reduce the pressure?
@LawnInsider2 жыл бұрын
I would say at least 30-40% in my case! I wish I knew more about the sizing of the Kobalt so I could give you more feedback. You might be able to find an adapter that isn’t as bulky if you browse spray smarter. Something like this! www.spraysmarter.com/quickjet-body-asb-ny.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIxOzM5pmF9wIVJhitBh1LUA4_EAQYCCABEgL_hfD_BwE

@@LawnInsider Ok, so I ended up getting the adapter and quick cap. Now I'm realizing the Kobalt elbow doesn't thread correctly into the adapter. Now I have to figure out what elbow will fit on my Kobalt and this adapter. My fault and I probably should have done more research before jumping the gun. I guess I assumed the Ryobi and Kobalt parts would be similar.

Once we get to Memorial Day or so, I’ll be applying about every other week.

Would this work with kobalt sprayer?

Not sure! The tee jet tips should, but I’m not sure about the adapter.

Does anyone have trouble w this sprayer loosing pressure and leaving too much product in tank? Very frustrating
@LawnInsider2 жыл бұрын
I’ve actually read quite a bit about this on thelawnforum.com. You may want to check out this thread (bit.ly/3x1asyo). Luckily I’ve never had too much issue with the pressure, but I do think there could definitely be an improvement on the intake hose in the tank! Floats around too much. Hopefully this helps! Thanks for watching.

I just tried to order this set up and the guy said I’m trying to order the British threading for the adapter . He sent me the standard 11/16 adapter and it definitely doesn’t work :(
@LawnInsider2 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry you’re going through that! The setup itself worked for me, but the pressure was far better whenever I took off the adapter and just used the tee jet nozzles with the stock Ryobi housing.

@@LawnInsiderThat's because that is not just an adapter, it is also a check valve to stop the wand from leaking, and it takes 10 lbs of pressure just to open the check valve.
