I thought I'd never be able to play a bar chord, but I can now do that F#minor using a bar! Regular F, I'm still playing not-barred, but the F#minor is working! I don't know why! This is a pretty song. Thank-you for showing how to do it!

Thank you so much for explaining up strum no chord when changing chords, wish I had known that years ago, better late than never, finger picking made sense but strumming eluded me, thanks again, finding your channel has made a world of difference, I am now looking forward to learning more, after a long life time of stops and starts. Thanks.

The guitar that sometimes sits behind you on the album cube, is that a concert body and if so how do u like that body type? I use a parlor guitar, can't capo up on 6 because the frets get too small, but want to move up in size. I broke my left wrist falling off a short ladder and landing on my hand, surgery but it back together but i have some thumb joint damage and can't really go up to a wider neck. Thanks

Hi there. It is a concert size silver anniversary Alvarez. Built in 91. I picked it up at a pawn shop years and years ago. I really like it for fingerstyle. Good luck with your recovery and keep on picking. Thanks for tuning in!

Thank you I have a 1977 yamaha fg 335, I got at a pawn shop back in the 80s. Years built 1977 to 1981. It bellied out, common for that guitar, it sounds great but I can only use the first 3 frets after that the action is way too high. Reparing it is possible, but sounds expensive, also that makes it no longer original. I wanted a smaller full sized new guitar, that is why I landed on a concert size. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I notice the Fender t shirt. Do you play an electric guitar sometimes?
@Relaxandlearnguitar Жыл бұрын
Yes. I am partial to my telecaster. I prefer acoustic but do play some electric guitar too
