Great tutorial Ester. This is the best Tutu method I've seen so far on KZbin (without going full ballet). The tule you selected is just adorable. Thanks for not over complicating the video as well.

This is exactly how I imagine doing it! The lady at hobby lobby told me to knot the pieces to get the volume, but this is what I wanted! I want mine just below the knee though ❤️ it’s beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much!!!! This was a fantastic tutorial. Super easy and looks FANTASTIC! My daughter gave me 4 days notice before Halloween that she needed a pink tutu for her costume and i refused to pay $30 at the Costume store. I think i spent $10 on the tulle and about 20 min to make.

How can i add a linning layer so that it isn't see through?

You can use the same technique but add a second layer of fabric that isn't see-through, however you will have to finish the raw edges of any other fabric so that it doesn't fray!
