This is epic diamond grade illusions, Matt !! I did this one time with a normal tv below my window and a plexiglass that had to be on an ankle. Made the screen from the tv make a reflecting illusion on the plexiglass at the window, looking like a hologram. It's the cheap way without needing a projector.. Matt, seriously, you are making the coolest things. Your child must have a blast with you as dad ! 😊 Now i need a cold one. Cheers to everyone in here 🍻 ❤

Awesome video! I bought the projector and loaded up some clips on a thumbdrive but every time it switched to a new clip it has a pop up in the lower right hand corner that says its playing a new clip and the title of that clip. Do you experience this same issue? Thanks so much!

Yes - I did - to reduce this issue I had to string multiple clips together in one long running file (using a video editor) This reduced the number of times it came up on the screen (longer the clip less frequent the issue (runtime of 30mins). I'll let you know if I find other ways to remove it - I'm working with a few of these projectors in my haunt this year so will do some more experimenting.

Does the color matter? For a transparent plastic for projection I read that grey is better than white.

Great question! I’ve used different shades of white for different settings with this technique. A grey will potentially blend in better with some surroundings and have less light ‘spill’ from the projection (make the projection have more contrast) But it’s also important to note that a brighter white will always reflect more light than grey - so if you go more grey you will need more brightness in the projection.

My question is if you use KZbin how do you deal with advertising lol I don’t want to have my Halloween display show and have ozempic showing up on my window telling me that I’m fat and I need to buy their pills lol

lol - great question - you need to either subscribe to KZbin - and that will take out all the ads - you can then loop the video you choose - OR - use a KZbin downloader to download the video off-line and play it as a video file - that’s what I did in this example. There are also lots of sites that sell really high quality video video clips for Halloween projection.
