That Orzhov game, your opponent was...unique? Maybe they got flooded and couldn't do anything they wanted to do? As far as the deck over-all. I've noticed that every time you had a option to play or discard The Raven Man, you discarded him. So, I get you cutting him at the end of the video. The card legitimately didn't do much of anything in the deck.

The card is likely better than I give it credit for. I've just had such mediocre to bad luck with it that I usually opt for other actions. I keep giving it a try to win me over though.

Hostile Negotiator is so good for mono black. Those few extra cards you get have come in clutch for me.

my only question to you (i hate discard decks by the way) why not run a couple of copies of phyrexian arena to negate the effects of lilianas "both" players discard a card effects

It's a five card if you want to run it. I'm limiting my cards that don't have an immediate game effect these days in BO1 unless they are super high impact.

I've picked up your habit of playing 61 cards fairly often - sometimes it's just easier to play 61 cards than to decide what else to cut!

My guess is some red card thatgives things haste so once they are reanimated you can win on the spot.

I keep wanting to like it, but more often than not, I'm doing something more proactive on 2 into Liliana on 3. Or removing a threat or something and using Lilly to keep the board clear. So usually in my pace of play TRM just doesn't fit since he doesn't really block effectively and the birds can't block. I keep trying him, but almost always cut him.

I love the modern discard in standard, be it mono black or Orzhov. I'll definitely give this a try. While I do enjoy The Raven Man into Liliana, I understand him not having enough value to be kept by the video's end. Overall, I had an amazing time watching this video. Thank you for all you do! 🤘🎃
