As always… love watching your videos. Two excellent builds today! I built a couple of similar ‘Toddler Step Stools’ for our GrandKids a couple years ago. A fun project.

Great job guys. I've recovered a few seat pads. A few tips I'd give would be staple the middle of one side and then staple the middle of the opposite side to start and then you have equal tension on both sides. Also when doing the corners, cut a v in the material and it just makes the material sit better. Love both the projects. You certainly wouldn't think it was your first time doing either of them.

Thank you for the tips. Neither of us have ever upholstered anything. Will definitely come in handy on the next one!

You could look into getting a canvas puller/stretcher tool. Its like a pair of pliers, with wide flat grips for the mouth of them. It'll help stretch and tighten your fabrics when youre doing upholstery. I think they also have them at Hobby Lobby.

Haha be nice if the kids would hang out with mom in the kitchen but my wife don’t like to cook so that’s me. My 16 month old daughter just figured out she can push up a chair and help me.

You might want to invest in a airgun stapler. It will save you time and some stress on trying to squeeze the trigger.
