It could be that the combat becomes better as you progress or level up some skill tree. 3D TMNT games have been notorious for this kind of thing since TMNT 2 Battle Nexus on GC, PS2 and Xbox.

Huber sold me on this game. I also love Mutant Mayhem, so I picked this game up when it launched and it is as interesting as it sounds. Mixing Ninja Gaiden with Persona is a genius move from developer aheartfulofgames. There are blemishes with the camera during combat, but this truly feels like one of those tie-in games that ends up becoming a cult classic.

Definitely more intrigued than I was, with it being an Outright Games joint. The RPG mechanics sound cool, sounds like it will be fun to play with my partner but I'll probably wait for a sale since it's out during the busy period of the year.

It's from the same devs that made a great hack and slash game called Heart and slash so I'm definitely buying the 50 dollar edition of this game Aheartfulgames are great devs you all do know that outright don't make these games right they still deserve some credit but don't confuse publishers with developers now go preorder it will be worth it I only played 1 game from these indie developers but it is 1 of the best indie games I played they make games with alot of heart and passion and really care about the gameing community they don't take themselves to serious and know how to just have fun the release date is October 18th 40 dollar standard or 50 deluxe edition which comes with a new mode and a few skin packs including an og 1987 tmnt skin pack

This game was made to follow the new Ninja Turtles movie from this year. Check out the new movie it's great. This game looks awesome. The designs are different, but this version is actually good.

@@SIXminWHISTLE story wise? Yes. Art style, turtle design was similar in that they all looked the same and the comic even choose all red bandanas instead of colors. Throw in your pencil marks and it's the same. I think however the cartoon and video games took the turtles in a better direction. It is no surprise no one remembers anything particularly good about the original graphic novel. All opinions of course.

@MaNameizJeff The Mirage comics are well loved, the comics just never really hit mainstream when compared to the heights TMNT as a whole achieved. The first movie is a pretty close adaptation of the early Mirage comics and it's great.

The 80s designs were already goofy. People would shit on the show if it came out today. Never understood the bias towards the original cartoon when 03, and 2012 are more accurate to the comics
