today is Saturday morning. Andrew and Maria are doing their chores , their mom has asked them to do that. -it has been a hard job for me. My mom has given me so many chores. i have to take the dog for a walk now -i have come home. - but where have you been? -i have been to the grocery store. -have you bought bread and oil? -yes i have bought. - have you repaired the faucet? -yes i finally done it, it seems working well now/ it seems to be working fine now - i so glad to hear that -have you moved the lown? - no , i have not done that yet, but i am going to do it now. -Maria have you seen Andrew? -Yes , he has just taken the dog out for a walk. -have you cleaned up your room yet?/ have you finished cleaning our room yet? -yes i have folded my clothes and i have put them away. - i have made my bed and i have vacuumed the floor. -but you have not taken out the trash. - you right, i have not done that yet. -and how about dusting the shelves? -i have already done that. -you have worked well/ ou have done a good job today. let me given you a hug. -o, you have come back Andrew. - i have had such a busy day, mom you have given my too many chores. - i have given you the same job as a usually - you have not complained before . -has something happened? -i have had such a busy week, and i am little tired. -then you can rest, you have done enough today. - i am proud of you. it is 17^00 p.m. all are gather / everybody is // in the living room, the bell is ringing -i wonder who it is? -mom , dead have you invited anyone over dinner? - it is surprise their cousins have arrived with their parents to visit them. - i so glad .that you have finally arrived . - we have missed about you - we have missed too. - i have brought you some delicious cookies -please help yourself thanks auntie. - we have not seen long time, what have you been do all the time. - we have had so many fann lately/ we have done a lot of fun lately . - we have gone sailing on yacht and we have visited museum -have you ever been on a yacht? - no we have not. -but we at once have been a ship. and guess what. i have learned to swim this week . -you know i have always wanted to be able to swim -that is greit . i am glad for you. -what about you? what have you done lately? -i have performed in the singing competition this week , and i win/ i have won -wow. congrats . -you must have beautiful voice , what i have ever heard . -so you have overcome your fear of singing in front of a lot of people - it is right. i have finnely stopped affreid now. what about you Bridget? -you spook that you wanted take lassence violence -have you started yet? - o ..yes. i have already started take the lessons -i like to play on violent i have already joined soccer team .you have known i always want join to the soccer tim -yes we have known about that. -your dreams have finally come true -what about you two? -what are your great dreams? -well... my dream it is to be able to go/ visit at once on Egipet -have you ever been there? - no we have not. -but our parents have been in Egipet -they have seen the pyramids and the desert , and they have ridden a camel. they have traveled a lot and have done many amazing stuff -we have only been to Mexico and Canada and we have seen Eiffel Tower -wow. it is cool

In American English many of these could also be said using the simple past, if it's done and over. The UK uses present perfect more because it's next to Europe and thee European languages tend towards the PP I use PP if I want to sound more excited about something. The dog ate my lunch vs. The dog has eaten my lunch.

Very nice video on the whole!! But there are a few situations here where -- as a teacher -- I would not have used the Present Perfect because it sounds unnatural and refers to something at a definite point in time, which requires the use of the past simple. But otherwise - great effort and thank you!

Pay attention! Look at these sentences! Situation 1 The boss told his emplyoees, Sendo some e-mails and call clientes 1 one hour later Have you sent the e-mails? Yes, I have Have you already called the clientes? No, I haven't What is important in Present Perfect is what you or other people have done in past not when. The action can be done once, 2 or several times, but you don't specificy the exact time when it was done or happened. You can use since, never, always, just, already, yet.. You van not use with yesterday, last year, month, in 2018. Because these are specific time. If the person says never or always she's talking about an or more actions that she's done or not throughout her life If you say already, you,re talking about actions done or events occured in past before the expected
