Was für eine schöne Geschichte! Ich wohne in Australia und hatte Deutsch 1969-1971 studiert . Mein Freund gab mir letztes Jahr drei Bücher die noch nicht übersetzt in Englisch sind . Ich konnte die Handlung nicht folgen! Meine Probleme waren Grammatik und Wortschatz. Ich habe seit neun Monate Deutsch über eine App gelernt. Das hilft aber es macht nicht viel Spass . Ich gratuliere euch von Herzen! Ich habe angefangen 2018, als ich nach Deutschland gezogen bin, Deutsch zu lernen und habe euren Kanal ganz am Anfang entdeckt. Damals habe ich kaum etwas verstanden, aber war super motiviert mit dieser Sprache. Als die erste Podcast Episode rauskam, war ich schon auf einer Niveau, wo ich zwar nicht alles verstanden habe aber genug um daran Spaß zu haben. Am Ende 2019 habe ich mich dann entschieden, dass es jetzt die Zeit ist, in der Arbeit vom Englischen auf Deutsch zu wechseln ..der Anfang war unglaublich schwierig, aber mittlerweile geht es automatisch und ich genieße es so sehr mit der Sprache zu spielen und immer noch zu experimentieren . Ihr habt mich auf dieser Reise begleitet und mir sehr geholfen. Ich kann nur bestätigen was Janusz gewünscht hat: das war unglaublich Spaß und immer noch ist, diese Sprache zu lernen. Und zu guter Letzt, der Podcast war die allerbeste Idee, Manuel!

As a 55 year old retired Spanish teacher, I have to tell you that you saved my life. Yes, you literally saved my life. You all gave me something to focus on after a horrible last two years in the classroom during the pandemic when I finally retired from the classroom. Your smiles, your sense of humor, your instinct of what your learners need, your expertise and your hard work seem to come together in a magical way. Wow! My desire to learn German was finally a doable reality. You drew me in and I got hooked. It's only been less than a year but I'm loving my progress. You have no idea how powerful your Easy German episodes and the podcasts are. The production quality is consistently outstanding. Your diligence shows. I felt guilty getting all this for free so I became a member to give back. It's not nearly enough for the value that we receive but I'll upgrade when I can...okay? 😊 This old man WAS considering moving to Mexico but now I'm considering Germany or maybe even one of the German communities in Mexico. Who knows? Thanks to you, I feel like I understand our world better in spite of all the ugly events in this crazy world. We are bombarded with negativity and n'e'r-do-wells! Your family team reminds me of a great foreign language textbook company called Heinle and Heinle. They were a family owned company that made the best language textbooks. Well, they got bought out by a huge corporation decades ago and things were never the same. Textbooks were soulless. Until you all came along.
