easyJet Airbus A320-251N Madeira Funchal to Manchester | Full Flight

After a fantastic visit to the island of Funchal it was time to head home, and what better way to do so than one of easyJet's newest Airbus A320neo's. Taylor and I headed airside onto the terrace a couple of hours prior to departure. From here we caught the aircraft arriving and parking on stand. From there it was downstairs to the waiting bus to take us to the waiting Airbus. We boarded early, got settled in to the new seats provided on this 32N and got going. Takeoff from Madeira is always interesting, even though I've never done it during the day! The flight itself was uneventful, having eaten before departure I opted not to purchase anything and decided instead to sleep for a couple of hours. The only interesting thing to note was how bright it was outside thanks to flying below a perfect full moon and above thick overcast cloud. Around 3 hours and 30 minutes later we made our approach into MAN landing on 23R just under 25 minutes early.
Overall, a very pleasant flight with easyJet, great to be back on the NEO! The new cabin and seat design on this aircraft is a massive upgrade. The seats are very comfortable, well padded and offer great legroom. The NEO itself is a quiet and pleasant aircraft to travel on, especially when trying to sleep, the crew were attentive and friendly & finally the flight both departed and arrived early. Can't complain!
