This very cheap flight was good value, despite a few hiccups. Luton Airport is currently undergoing massive redevelopment at the moment, so the place looks like a building site…and feels like one too!
No lounge on this visit (I’m not buying a PriorityPass until May), but this was a straightforward trip - it would have helped if they’d opened the aircraft rear doos having been told to board up the rear steps though!
Enjoy the great Alpine scenery on approach to Turin, as well as a fabulously clear flypast of London Heathrow at 20,000 feet!

Luton Airport....reminds me of the tv show Airline UK........I flew out of that airport and was filmed missing my flight and had to be rebooked. I was flying to Amsterdam.....They had me sign about a thousand papers for release on tv.

Nice video. It looked like you were on G-EZAT not AA as in the description though. I echo the comments about Luton - I flew from there last September and couldn't believe they were charging for the plastic bags for your carry on liquids!

Luton has been there for years they are ‘remodelling’ the whole airport, but you obviously aren’t old enough to remember luton in the 80s and 90s it was a dump things have got a lot better but it’s still an absolute dive

I liked this review. Usually you see vlogs where people are just talking the entire time and all you see is there face. With this vlog however, you really get to see the airport and if you are going somewhere very soon then it hypes you up. Like me for example, i'm going to Lithuania on sunday and as I scroll through the video options I see 'airport vlogs' where throughout the whole video the vloggers are just speaking & messing around with their friends and family. Very boring. You really gave the feeling of excitement to me. Now, i'm not gonna complain about Luton Airport because as many comments have said.. 'it's a working progress'... and i'm flying at Luton Airport on Sunday haha. But, compared to the 70's and 80's, Luton Airport has changed for the better and is way more pleasant!! Keep doing your thing Paul! x

Using a bargain airline, I'd expect only basic transportation: snug seating, an interior in need of a refurbishment, no free drinks or food, and no IFE. Easyjet would not disappoint me.

Suffered a trip to Genoa with Court Line in a BAC 1-11 around 1972 from Luton via their terminal in North London. I swore then that I would never fly from Luton again and, I'm pleased to say, I haven't. However, if the price was unbeatable and I was accompanied by a beautiful lady travelling companion, who knows? Never say never again!

Paul, just noticed that you use a "Cabin Max" bag. Do you find them adequate for say 5 days. As we are mulling over whether to take just cabin bags on Easyjet and Loganair. Which version of the "Max Cabin" bag do you carry?

Not correct. This is an A319. Some A319s in a high density configuration require two exits over the wing.

Absolute disgrace of an airport, It REEKS budget as soon as the get go. 3£ for drop off only 10 minutes and 1£ thereafter for every additional minute!! 1 hour stay cost 21£!!! Damn cowboys these lot. On top of it the insides are even more appalling, Most of outwards facing staff are clueless students. I worked as a security guard in the VIP section whilst it was under construction many years ago, that place is nice with a touch of Harrods to it. I remember meeting a pop singer named Rhianna and the moment they put up the massive note on the wall as ornament. If you are not VIP i suggest staying well clear unless you're tight on a budget like most students, but as a 30 year old i couldn't, not anymore. Great outlook on the trips though Paul, you sure love to explore! :)

There's nothing much to choose between these low cost carriers, price, punctuality, comfort, all within the same margins. The problem with them is they do tend to attract a certain type of clientele, if you know what I mean. No? I mean hen parties, stag does, drunks, fat people, smelly fat people, obnoxious people, screeching babies, tattooed, sweary fat obnoxious, smelly fat people. A comfy flight on a low cost airline is the luck of the draw, simple as that
