A320 Base Training Live Stream | MSFS 2020 FlyByWire A320NX

Join me for this informal stream where I'll be doing some base training (circuits) in the A320 (Developer Version from FlyByWire). This gives us a great chance to practice our landings and takeoffs. The proceedure is also conducted without autopilot so its also a chance to practice (& remember how) to handfly this wonderful aircraft. Looking forward to chatting with you during the flight. Hello mate great video! Very keen to see where you get your knowledge from for a non experienced pilot haha! Usually we have ROSE NAV for a visual circuit, what I do (it’s kinda non standard) is T-10seconds once you’ve started the clock is set flaps 2, then at T set about 20-25’AOB gear down flaps 3 and you’re looking at about a 3-400fpm rate of descent. I noticed you cut in early, we don’t normally do that, we fly a base leg and visually fly around, one we are visual with the runway, flaps full landing checklist. A captain once told me, a good rule of thumb is half your ground speed ie 140kts to make 7 but add a 0. In front of it. So about 0.7nn cross track error set 20/25’AOB and you’ll be lined up on the runway

Forgot to mention, when in rose nav we are looking at being about 2.5nm from the runway on the downwind. That said…nice job!

👍 Great to hear from you. Yes, the cut in early was a repetitive issue, as I failed to also take into account that your slowing down on the base leg turn.

I don't know why the LVR CLB warning is not flashing after take off. Could there be an explanation for this? Fixed LVR CLB warning. I think it's related to plugins, do you think it's possible?

love ya streams Easy.......is anyone else got this issue since the update?....when I click the mouse wheel it takes my cockpit view away from my view settings back to the standard pilot view,,,,very frustrating....
