I own this holster and I went to ebay and purchased a couple of Apple stickers. I simply applied one on the front of the holster and people think this is an IPad. There are no looks of wonderment. For a $1.50 investment for the sticker, it gives the wearer peace of mind.

Pocket carry without using a holster to block the trigger area is a recipe for disaster. Just ask Plaxico Burress, former NFL player who had his gun go off in his pants, and ended up shooting himself in the leg. Don't be stupid, invest the money in a holster.

I am impressed with my new "leather" Sneaky Pete Holster that I ordered from the manufacturer. With the available options to fit a Ruger LCP with Crimson Trace, and Extended magazine and "pinky grip" extender options, and with a rubber "Hogue Grip", and with the "belt clip" option. The holster looks great, fits great, and also allows clean concealment, with easy "silent access" because of the magnetic closure. This combination creates the situation in which I am less hesitant to "carry" because of discomfort.

I have two of these. Both of mine are leather, well made, one is the alligator leather style, etc. Yes, they are beautiful holsters and fit my guns perfectly. BUT, these just scream gun (to me). I've only seen one other person wear these on a regular basis, and he is an older man (like me), and honestly he looks ridiculous (to me). And, if this was a younger person it would still be the same to me. If I was a bad guy planning a violent act someone with this holster would be my first victim. So, after trying these out, they sit in my closet. After years of concealed carry I prefer IWB /covered or POCKET carry, but each to his own. Sneeky Pete are quality holsters, come in a nice presentation box, the leather feels and even smells great, you have the option for Nylon, they hide the weapon (while saying weapon), cover the trigger, and provide reasonable access to your firearm. If these work for you that's great. Well done review.

I ordered one for the Glock 26 with pinky extension. 3 different pinky rests in different sizes and THE GUN WOULD NOT FIT. Their website is not crystal clear either. The nylon construction is poor, I ordered tan, stitching seems questionable. Belt loops looked good and strong but to pay $60 plus for this holster is ridiculous. This does seem like a very good product and could be the perfect choice for concealed carry, BUT, because of the many reviews on KZbin and advertisements on various sites, they are becoming more and more recognizable. Being recognizable will diminish its usefulness for conceal-ability because people will know what it is. This seems like an incredibly silly way to carry a sub compact weapon. An IWB, or even a pancake style OWB would conceal this far better, retain it better, and make for a much smoother draw. Yea, I guess not everyone will know it's a gun in there, but do you really want to walk around with a massive bulge under your shirt? Or a huge leather case tats too big for a cell phone and too small for an ipad? Dude get yourself a comp-tac minotaur IWB
@JcLazy14 жыл бұрын
Concealed means not out in the open per definition. So it’s doing it’s job now the next part of your statement is opinion. Fat people, or people who wear skinny jeans probably feel uncomfortable wearing a OWB all day or even sitting down with it at your desk or driving. So the sneaky Pete is basically a OWB concealed open carry. Big difference between the Pete and OWB is the fact nobody is going to know it’s a gun in there verses OWB. You can also take off and put it on in public with out causing a stir. Now as far as a draw. That’s different per person and takes practice. As a law enforcement/ military guy. I am better With a OWB. That’s just how the military trained men. The sneaky Pete is the closely thing to a open carry with out being open carry. Could I use an IWB of course. I just rather be comfortable. It’s different taste for different folks. I personally like gun on my ride side or even right in front of my belt buckle if I were to do a IWB.

I'm officially old so if anyone questions it, I'll just say it is a medical device. None of their business what my medical device is for so if they ask I'll just stare at them.

Muggers like camera gear, that looks like it might be expensive. Someone sees that draws a gun on you, asks for this thing on your hip your f. You can’t draw

This carry method is ridiculous!

Why? I like the idea of not having a gun uncomfortably crammed into your trousers.

Have you seen the latest I-Pods/ Pads that kids are carrying. This case may be too small for some of them.

You can not shoot anyone through a camera genius. I do not care if the gun is loaded or not.

+Joshua Strode some people get very upset when you show a loaded gun on camera if you are not at a range. I agree with you completely.
