Its the first solution Ive seen that seems more functional that 'theoretical' - other solutions with clamps, multiple arms or even motorized tilt and pan seem far less useful that what EasyRig has come up with. The only problem for a one man band is the tension is on the back, and not accessible without help. If it was on the side, it would be more viable. But camera operators are always getting someone to adjust tension on set, or in a doc scenario with a small crew - people are already used to helping out with EasyRig tension...

Looks interesting, lets see. On a side note - Why are you bagging a scorpio? :D I am very happy with a mixpre and quad reciever for when you need to do everything on your own.

Haha cause I don't want to buy lots of different rigs for different situations

@@soundrolling I get it. At the same time, how often do you need the full power of a Scorpio unless you have a cart/boom op? Its about the heaviest rig on the market. Not all new recorders are heavy, A Nova/Mixpre/Zoom is quite the opposite. I consider even a 833 to be on the heavier side tbh, but I get it if you absolutely need gain and faders on top.

@@Dustbrigade yeah I will get a shorter setup eventually. Quite a lot of the time I'm running lots of tracks so I do get lots of rest :)
