to me, this is one of the most helpful videos for understanding spoken russian you hear in normal conversations. i'm building up grammar and vocabulary with several textbooks and audio files and I'm getting better at reading simple texts. But all of these materials explain "proper Russian" as it is written and these filler words always threw me off when listening to conversations.

Vidéo intéressante, mais pour l'équivalant du 'Ну' en français, je n'aurai pas dit 'mais' mais plutôt 'éh bien' ou quelque chose comme ça, car le 'mais' oppose 2 idées, c'est un vrai mot et non pas un mot 'bateau', après cela reste que mon opinion personnelle, à part ça, j'aime beaucoup vos vidéos ^^'

@@EasyRussianVideos да, точно! Мне кажется, что этот союз обычно не имеет никакого собственного значения, а носители употребляют его только для того, чтобы звучать более "естественными". К примеру: "хоть и она мне не сказала, что..." значит то же самое, что "хоть она мне..."

@@yasserbs я не лингвист, но кажется что «и» тут используется как усилительная частица. Употребляется в случаях, когда вы эмоционально аргументируете/защищаете свою точку зрения. При этом «и» ставится перед глаголом (или перед частицей «не»). То есть в вашем примере должен был быть такой порядок слов: «хоть она мне и не сказала...».

Translation for first word you have mentioned is the common English conjunction/sentence connector "By The Way" and is commonly said as BTW in common texting slang amongst native English speakers. Hope this helps you moyh drukh :)

Sometimes we say "kind of" not because we don't know a word but because we only mean to seperate it from this word (exclude it). It is a very intended thing, a very unirritated and confident expression. What you actually mean doesn't matter because sometimes it doesn't matter as for what you mean to convey. For example: That is also kind of a point. You say that because you mean to say that it is not a point, that it has no weight really because that would distract from what you mean to say if it was misunderstood as a point. So therefore you say kind of. It is a very kind of interesting kind of theme (yes noone talks like that) to find confidence where there was assumed insecurity. Here I said kind of because it only matters to hint at what I mean, or wait, actually these 2 words came up but felt wrong. By searching for the exact word I might have lost my point and it would also felt straining. I naturally don't tend to do that. In general if something feels straining, it means that there is no need to do something. To find an exact word does though also have a good reason. It is no misapplied sense of seriousness and we do value such efforts. What I mean is that when we don't understand ourselves the right way (which can be really tough, while there is a feel to believe in and it will show why) it leads to less confidence so we can't just continue without finding that word. While if you really used a nonfitting word you will have a feeling for it afterwards; such doesn't actually come with searching for a word. So, this might sound complicated but in actuality there is no need to understand yourself as it might appear, No it is a distant feel so to for example continue without irritation and a good feel. I also didn't intend to exclude these words, these just came up but felt off. So you see "kind of" also means "not at all" yet "something like that" and you can just feel distantly but not see it or grasp it and there is something good in that or that is a very good thing or simply just how it is. So, kind of is not a filler word. There surely are of course situations where you sense for the right word.

по-французки , "mais" это больше "а", чем "ну", мы редко начинаем фразу с этим словом, mais значит оппозиция против того, что было сказано раньше 😅 " mais non ! tu as tort" (нет, ты не прав) " mais si ! je suis sûr que j'ai raison" (а я уверен, что я прав) "ну" по французки будет "еuh", " et bien...", "alors" интересно, и полезно. Спасибо.
