what scares me is when one of THESE guys posts a video that is super NOT TRUE at all. It is a pile of utter rubbish. This is NOT a Li-ion battery charger at all. Li-ion battery chemistry REQUIRES a different charging methods; first CC, then at a set point a CV charge, then trickle chsrge, then cut-off. His way will damage/destroy your battery. Charging depends on the C-rate, voltage, etc This circuit does NONE of the above.It will damage your batteries. You decide - is he just collecting Likes out of ignorance, or is he making a fool of you. He can not get the specs right. The title says "36V 10Amp Lab Bench Power Supply" while the BOM says" 24V 3Amp Adaptor" Why would you need high current for charging in series - that is crazy. Using a buck converter is also crazy as there is no current limiting, no short-circuit protection, and the waveform is terrible.

I have one question regarding Digital VOLT AMMETER connection. Among the 3 thin wires yellow goes to positive output. And red goes to buck converts(300w) output + terminal. But what about black wire? Which is the correct seen many videos all have different. 1) Not connected 2) connected to buck converters output negative. 3) added LM7812 at buck converters o/p and given safely 12v to power up the digital V/A meter. As per me the 3rd ne should be correct but all of above cases are working... Pls help me.

do you somehow glue those trimpots to the potentiometer in a way you can still turn them? why not just get a potentiometer of the right value?

This low cost switch is gonna break soon. And the cooling fan is so small for the heat dissipation

Guys do not try this circuit, there is a big flaw in this project .This might work as a lab bench power supply but never as a lithium (or any) battery charger. The reason being in an event of power cut or if u remove the input adapter while the battery is charging the current will flow back from battery to the buck converter and will damage it . There is no reverse current protection used here. If you dont trust me you are welcome to try this and fry your precious buck converter 😂 .
