Eat and explore in HAWKES BAY, New Zealand!

Hawkes Bay is well known in New Zealand for its vineyards and wine farms; the art deco style of Napier and Hastings, and for its beaches, cliffs and mountains. We took a 'cheeky midweeky' three days to explore and found plenty of things to do and great bars and restaurants to enjoy. Check out some of the best places to visit in Napier itself, like the Bluff Hill Lookout and the Ahuriri neighbourhood, and nearby attractions like Te Mata Park and Craggy Range winery and restaurant.

Te Mata Park is in the Hastings District ,not the City of Napier.Havelock North village ,below Te Mata was incorporated into Hastings City year’s ago.Napier and Hastings traditionally had quite a rivalry going on. Kia Kaha!

Hi David - Covid has certainly made it more difficult to emigrate, probably the best way to get here is to have a job offer from a certified employer who can assist you with making the move. There is a lot of information on the Immigration New Zealand website, and jobs on Seek.co.nz. Facebook groups on SA to NZ emigration are also a great source of information! Good luck :)
