More surface area for algae to collect- Harder to feed fish, the expense of creating a floor thin enough to not break, or using thicker material lifting the floor even higher thereby ruining the experience of flying fish. I can name a dozen other reasons why having a floor of glass is less feasible.

Why everyone is concerned about the fish getting squashed? Fishes usually had a very slippery oil cover their body. It's hard enough to catch a fish with bare hand, it's impossible to accidentally squash them unless you wear shoes and trying to stomp them.

I’ve been to the villa escudero waterfall restaurant and lemme tell ya, the adobo they serve is really good and on top of that, You can bath on the waterfall while you wait for your food to be served! Highly recommend this place
