In Denmark it is customary to drink a chocolate milk called Cocio with your street hotdogs. We call the chocolate milk a "Congo Bajer" ("Congo beer" in English).

Dinner/lunch: Flæskesteg med kartofler og persillesovs (Roast pork with potatoes and parsley sauce) Frikadeller (Danish meatballs) Tarteletter (Tartlets) Weinersnitchel (weinersnitchel) Flæskesteg med brunt sovs, chips, rødkål og kartofler (pork roast with brown gravy, chips, red cabbage and potatoes) Dessert: Rød grød med fløde (Red porridge with cream) Æblekage (Apple pie with whipped cream and crunch) Cakes: Othello (Biscuit, cream and chocolate with marcipan) Jordbær tærte (Strawberry pie) Hindbærsnitte (raspberry Slicing) Kransekage (Some sort of marcipan cake with chocolate)

We do love our hotdogs. Unfortunately, the number of hotdog stands have decreased a lot the past 20-30 years. However, the hotdog is still pretty popular.

"Flæskesteg" is basically pork, its eatten alot in Denmark at christmas time, with potatoes, a brun sauce... Some also eats in a sandwich, wich is what you can buy at some stands in Denmark :)
