eat it all - a community dinner fighting food waste was delivered in partnership with the TUSA Food Hub.
On October 23rd over 200 people gathered for a tasty, seasonal zero-waste three-course dinner curated by food waste advocate and chef Tom Wescott. The vibes were excellent, with candle lit dinner tables, a typical Tassie spring evening (four seasons over two hours) and an abundance of waste-fighting goodie bags our dinner guests took home.
We we're joined by some waste-wise friends for great conversations:
Guest speakers included,
Jeff McClintock, UTAS Community Garden Coordinator
Jay Patey, Founder & Baker PigeonWhole Bakers
Tom Wescott, Chef & Food Waste Advocate.
Plus, we’re excited to be launching our new food-waste fighting resources and delicious recipes that can help us #TurnFoodWasteAround. (recipes that can be found on our website .... eatwelltas.org.au).
