Regardless of battery issues....Thank you for sharing this great content. Many people just don't have the knowledge to find and collect. At one point in time the bottles were probably the top layer until many years of dumping covered them up....That's why we dig up already purple bottles at times.

The clear ones seem to be quite a bit rarer than the green ones. I've probably dug 40 green ones, but only these 5 clear ones and on two occasions, they've came out in pairs. These two from the same dig, the two purple ones I held up to the light came out in the same dig and then the 5th one came out by itself in another location.

Im at the hole now... it has finally caved itself in after a heavy rain. This dig I'm doing right now, as I type this comment, will not be posted for some time though. I'm storing up footage for the winter. Good news to look forward to though... even though I had to restart the hole, I'm already into some decent layers

As many case gins we find up North here, we hardly ever find clear , aqua or purple ones. They are always broken. You had a nice pocket for sure!

hi. when you dig a sun-colored amethyst bottle from deep in the ground. it means it was already that color when it was discarded. Most likely it sat near a window for years.

Morning sir , the blue broken bottle is a prices patent candle company bottle with diamond registration u can dat to exact day month year in uk don’t say soap though , always wanted to dig one , over here date to 1880/90 so need early dump which are even scarcer these days , look on e bay , will set you back £150 minimum , don’t think Canadian and American diggers wi have seen one , find the other bits b worth it .
