Y'all are so entertaining! You make me laugh! 😂 I don't blame Rebecca for bein vegetarian when she was in Indonesia. I would be too. I remember when I lived in Auckland New Zealand many years ago when I was on an LDS Mission and my mission companion and I went to this Polynesian family's house for tea (dinner) they told us that they had soaked raw fish in Coconut Cream (not like the U.S. Coconut Cream) in the fridge overnight. When we went to eat, they were passin the fish around (mind you, the Polynesians get offended if you don't eat their food) and it was about 1 1/2 inches thick, 3 inches wide and 5 inches long and it was raw. I don't like fish at all! I took one bite of it and it crunched in my mouth. I nearly vomited! 🤮 I excused myself and went to the bathroom to spit it out. It was so gross tasting! I have to make sure that you understand that most of the Polynesian food I ate was delicious...just NOT the fish!
