The Old Town in Benidorm is a different world than the Levante side, Tapas bars are superb, especially those hidden down lovely Spanish side streets. The sort of stuff shown here is available too, but it's the moon and stars fresher and tastier.

I don't know why so many people are slating the place or Benidorm. Surely no one goes to Benidorm for a cultural, historical or food trip. Everyone knows what it is. I thought he summed it up well. £20 for a few people relaxing with a beer or so, and it fills you up. I went there (Benidorm) about 30 years ago and it looks the same. Not my cup of tea these days, but was good for sun, beer and mates.

I find it hilarious that so far the two videos I watched of you in Benidorm we have two Houdini acts. They could not be further away from the audience of the UK. What is there to fear? Two things spring to mind - They know full well what kind of microwaved swill is being served up to English punters and that is most definitely an embarassment to good food, blown out of the water by local cuisine. - They are in Spain for the express reason of not being recognized or linked back to the UK. They could just be embarassed or camera shy of course but I am not too sure hahaha. I have a strong feeling some of these people out in Spain watch your videos knowing they could and should do better. Especially for their own people jumping on a plane to be there. P.S. I would not have been able to resist giving that cute Frenchie a bit of burger. He could have helped with the review. He knows who these people should be catering to. Lived in Benidorm for seven years. The British food is shit and that includes fish and chips that that other bloke Mac Master reviews . When I come back to England I was shocked how shit the British food was compared to the uk and couldn’t believe I got so blinkered into thinking it was good. Piss head frozen food is that. They all get from the same frozen produce supplier. Lived on Chicken Pasta and tapas in the end.
