Asian 7/11's are the best, period. I went to Thailand for vacation, and my gawd. Thai tea dispensers, steamed pork buns, a variety of seafood flavored chips, and more! lol My mexican self was freaking out, because I didn't know what I was going to do back in L.A. with no thai tea dispensers at my local 7/11's lol

Champorado with Taiwanese fish chips in 7-11 Manila. It is a breakfast item, chocolate porridge made of sticky rice with "tablea" or native chocolate and you put sugar and evaporated milk in a can and the traditional side is "tuyo" dried herring fish (tuyo in Filipino means dry). You can buy boxed Champorado at grocery stores from White King brand. As a kid, you make an artful design when you pour the evaporated milk from the can, like spirals or flowers or anything artsy. Yummy!

I love getting the hotdog at Indonesian 711! Especially the questionable free flow cheese sauce that you get when you purchase one. The chilli is quite decent too but too bad they no longer have the pickled cucumber or onion and tomatoes anymore because apparently Indonesians don't eat vegetables

Malaysia, I go to Thailand and Singapore quite often. Malaysia has pretty ok Frozen Nasi Lemak, fried rice, wonton soup and siu mai that you can heat in the microwave yourself a couple of minutes plus so many instant noodles, even fried noodles' you have to drain the water after then put thick sauce, chillies and fried onions on. And can microwave cakes, muffins, waffles for breakfast or dessert. You can also grab a sandwich at certain places, chillied sardine with onions are a local favourite. Residential area and larger highway stop 7-Es also have seating and a lot of local cakes, cookies, cooked food like fried mai fun, mein, rice, nasi lemak (some even with fried chicken included), food on a stick in the food warmer (hotdogs, crab sticks , chicken balls, fish balls) Some have seating areas, others just some standing tables or ledges you can use. Sad that no Indian food is on offer-that is a pretty big part of the local diet. Thailand has full meal that are chilled as well as frozen, we're talking pork burgers and Thai pork satay to Thai curry rice meals to Tom Yam (of course!) noodles to bento boxes and Miso soup. They prefer chilled meals made that day or the day before rather than frozen, so the chillers can take half the space! Bigger ones have outdoor seating areas. Singapore the foods offered taste blander but have a lot more Japanese food than the other two countries. Tuna Onigiri!!! You can get a whole boiled egg to go with your noodles! Singapore usually does not have seating areas as space is a premium, you heat then go to a bench nearby on the sidewalk to eat.
