Eating at ibar-b-que Express Restaurant in Fruitland Park, FL | Refresh BBQ Restaurant Review in FL

In today's video, we wanted to go back to a really good BBQ restaurant near The Villages, Florida in Fruitland Park called ibar-b-que Express We have been here before but did a restaurant review a few years ago so it was time for a much-needed refresh review. This bbq restaurant was suggested to us a while back and is located off Hwy 27. The last time we went, the bbq food was amazing. One of our favorite things to get is the cornbread. They have stinkin' good cornbread. The three meat platter is massive and plenty of food to share. It overall is the best deal since you get to try a little bit of everything including brisket, ribs, and chicken. Plus it comes with two sides so it is a big plate. It was so good! We finally got some fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and they were good. Of course, we had to get some dessert, and since we had tried the banana pudding we were going to try the pound cake but they were out. So we went with the stinkin' good banana pudding and tried the sweet potato pie. Another good item was the potato salad. Stinkin' good potato salad. The staff is so friendly and they also were playing Christian music which is a plus! Overall we really enjoy this bbq restaurant near The Villages in Fruitland Park!

Our winter place in FL is less than a mile from I BBQ Express, and we have eaten there many times. The peach cobbler and sweet potato pie are our favorites, as are their ribs and cornbread. You should also try out the new Legends location (across and south of IBBQ) specifically on the 3rd thrusday (7-9pm) of the month for a great country singer, Braxton Bennett. Their wings are terrific. Their new location is a lot bigger, and they have several entertainment options on other nights.

You should review The Breakfast Station in Leesburg, next to the Aldi's. Best link breakfast sausage I have ever eaten. Service is great and prices are very reasonable.

It all looked good, but I vote for Oakwood on 441 as the all time best. They have the best collard greens. We will try this place to compare tho.

It might be a "Florida thing" as they went to another eatery a while back that did the same thing (ads covered the entire tabletop). Doesn't bother me though, because no matter where I go to eat out, my MAIN thing is just being with/socializing with the person/people with me...even the food is not really important (it's a distant 2nd at best). ;-) -- BR
