I know its for marketing and all, but when I went to Japan it was hilarious to see all the bakeries with french names selling food i've never seen before (im french btw)

I think the Japanese are obsessed with the French. The fact that evian water is so popular when Japan has so many sources of water is kinda crazy
@Eldlich_98
@Eldlich_98 Ай бұрын
@@MsRainingDays craziest is that evian in Japan is cheaper than evian in france

Yes, japanese "bread" is nothing like european bread😅 In my country (Poland) where we have top quality bakeries it wouldnt be even considered as bread but rather cakes and cookies.

I like this slow paced, long form video in addition to your short videos. I find both relaxing. The food u made looks pretty good😋 Would love to see more of your cooking even if its nothing fancy :)

My better half loves natto. We have both homemade natto and nattokinese vitamins in the house. I don't love the flavor, the sliminess, or the fermented smell. I appreciate the health benefits.

I hope you had a nice calm Sunday! Just found your channel and I love the videos. Im sorry the work life is so hard. We could all be sitting around travelling, drinking tea, reading books and connecting with other humans but instead some idiot somewhere decided we needed to be working 40 hours a week. So stupid. No one will be on their death bed thinking "im glad i spent so much time working."

I recently discovered Natto about a month ago. There is nothing else like it. Very spicy funky strange flavor. Delicious with daikon. It's kind of addictive! But I heard that even a lot of Japanese people don't like natto.

I found the easiest dish to make is Yakisoba and stuff you can cook in a skillet It's easier to get frozen veggies, but you can get fresh spinach, carrots, etc. easy in supermarkets around the world. Yakisoba is easier to get in Japanese markets and it comes with sauce where you can adjust. Get some cheap seafood or meat and it's a complete meal. Takes less than 30 minutes.

@@JarrodF7405 it doesn't taste like yam, it's made using the starch of the mountain yam, so after rinsing a few times is essentially tasteless (though does absorb flavor) and without calories. It's a typical japanese diet food, similar to eating unflavored jello to fill up.
