As Salamu Alaykum Dear Brothers and Sisters 😊 SubhanAllah A Hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari mentions it is prohibited to breathe into a container from which one is drinking. This is not exactly the same as blowing, however one could argue that breathing is less than blowing. Therefore, if the lesser is prohibited then the greater should certainly be included in the prohibition. عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِذَا شَرِبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلاَ يَتَنَفَّسْ فِي الإِنَاءِ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, ‘If one of you drinks then let him not breathe into the container.’ (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith Number 153). There is an interesting chemistry behind this about blowing on food and it’s vapour from blowing/breathing releasing harmful toxin

Take 3 sips with 3 breaths. basically breathe in then sip the water then breathe out and make sure you don’t breathe out into the vessel of the water, just do that 3 times
