Interesting, eating lentils made me feel better than ever! I had stomach issues on keto, carnivore, caveman diet etc! Adding lentils to the mix fixed my stomach and restored my energy levels! I guess this goes to show how everyone is different!

As organic vegan I consume a lot of beans With avocados nuts and herbs they’re my main source of nutrients It’s true that beans and lentils might cause digestive discomfort However there’re ways around it You might consider eating smaller portions or try different types of beans I use immersion blender for my lentils and it works for me

I just started eating lentils daily and notice severe lower GI inflammation. I thought it might be lectins. I'm going to start soaking them overnight and cooking, then pour off the water. If it's not lectins, perhaps it's a pest spray. I've tried different sources, but organic isn't available. Thank you for the information. Any suggestions are appreciated. BTW, what kind of squirrel 🐿️ is that beauty with the long red ears and feet at the intro?

All that needed to be said is that cooking in boiling water for just 10 minutes will eliminate the issue with lectins. Who would eat a bean that hasn't been cooked for at least 10 minutes? This is much ado about nothing.

If it's been sealed, it's pretty much fine. It might have lost a little nutritional value but it's not going to hurt you at all. Dried food last a long time.

@EM-is9ti

@@marisalove921 Probably not a huge deal. How do they look and how do they smell? If they retained their color and smell - they are fine. They won't have the same nutritional quality but you can still eat them. You will be boiling them in water anyway. It's a shelf stable food.
@EM-is9ti
@EM-is9ti Жыл бұрын
@@marisalove921 You should google 'how long do lentils last' - then you can read up on it for yourself. Ultimately, go with what you feel is right. If you are really worried about it, don't cause yourself additional stress. Just throw it out and get a new bag if you want to make lentils.

To live in fear that you need to cook your food in order to survive and thrive is a fallacy in itself. Just because something becomes edible introduced to entropy doesn't mean it is a necessity. The more complicated something is, the further away from truth and unity you are. Truly god/love made it so to survive on consciousness itself, if we are to eat then it makes pure sense to consume that which is alive and consumable in its raw state. This takes no lies or scientific justification, purely loving intelligence, for example your being wouldn't enjoy or gain anything from eating raw wheat grass or lentils, it would fall ill most likely, as opposed to eating raw veg and fruit it would be pleasurable and would most definitely make you feel alive. you are wat you eat.

Except that it's pretty easy to become deficient in Omega 3's if you aren't consuming some form of oils. Joel Fuhrman, for instance, has said he saw some of his mentors who tried living on a raw food diet develop neurological problems such as Alzheimer's as they aged due to a lack of omega-3's on a raw food diet. So it's not as simple as you make it sound.

But your Ansel Keys video says people were misled about how harmful cholesterol is. So I'm confused now, should people consume it or not? I thought our body produces all the cholesterol it needs? Could you clarify please? Thank you. I like how you speak clearly and deliberately and don't feel the need to raise your voice or yell to make a point. I find it very enjoyable to listen to, so I subscribed.

Hey! Thanks so much for the kind words and subscribing! It means a lot to me :) The issue with the whole cholesterol narrative, is that it is very difficult to pinpoint the exact issue by conducting rigorous experimental procedures on people diet. It's the exact topic of the video I am working on next, just trying to fit it around my busy work schedule! Our bodies do produce the amount of cholesterol we need, however, our bodies will always strive for 'homeostasis' which is a good balance of correct hormones and substrates in our bodies and thus regulate the amount of cholesterol produced or ingested to hit this numbers :)

Please know that legumes are NOT in the nightshade family and lectins are NOT exclusive to nightshades and anyone who even did a small amount of research into food plants or just knows a bit of botany would know that. If you're missing out on a piece of information that's that easy to find I'm not sure how to take the rest of your video, appreciate the effort bud
