Two things: Honor's "Lekker!" really caught me off guard haha, sounded very Dutch! And also there was nettle cheese literally two cheeses over from the one you pointed at at that first shop!

This video was exceptionally fun, laughed so many times. Hazelnoot also cracks me up everytime I read it, and I work at a food lab that often gets Dutch products in. The cutest language 😂

I've visited the Netherlands many times, and I was obsessed with stroopwaffles until I tasted stroopcookjes (excuse my spelling) they are out of this world. Thank you KLM for introducing me to them. Their chips are lush, and their mayo hits differently.

You're so lucky to have a massive train system at your fingertips! Here in Canada, we pulled up a lot of our tracks, and the ones that are left are for cargo or very expensive cross-country trips that take a billion years (unless you live near Toronto). Le sigh. Train was definitely my favorite way to travel when I was in Europe! Looks like a delicious trip!

Omg, I think I was in Amsterdam a few days before you. I couldn't believe the Van Gogh museum booked out 5 days in advance in the middle of winter, but there you go! I went to the Rijksmuseum and found their one Van Gogh painting...
@Korilian133 ай бұрын
They actually have four now, one of which Van Gogh painted on his way to visiting the Rijksmuseum. I think the museum square museums try not to compete with each other when it comes to buying art. They all have their specialty.

I do love your content, but one thing is getting to me lately. I don't have tik tok or instragram and every time you're filming something interesting, you abruptly end it and say to check out your other social medias for the full review. If you're filming something for youtube, can it just be an all-inclusive video where we don't have to hunt your other profiles to get the full picture? It feels like you're spreading yourself too thin in the social media-verse.

At 14:04 on the left you have nettle cheese (brandnetel). It feels weird seeing the language you've spoken all your life not being understood by someone else haha. Also about the poffertjes, my mother cooks and bakes a lot and really dislikes premade mixes and packets, but she makes an exception for poffertjes. She says that making it from scratch is a hit or miss and a lot of effort; so yes, nothing beats getting them from a shop or little cart!

FYI stroop is pronounced like rope with st in front of it. And noot is pronounced like note🇳🇱. I won't even start to explain how to pronounce van Gogh, because I found that the G sound is just impossible for English speakers. 🤣 But it's neither van Go nor van Gof. You did pronounce poffertjes right though!
