I sometimes don't understand how people make these assumptions. Like for example, I don't get what makes anyone assume you're jealous of your sisters! Your family is as close, loving, supportive and healthy as can be. Also, I never assume anyone is jealous of anyone or anything because I just think jealousy is such a dark and negative emotion and I wouldn't assume anyone to have that darkness inside them.

Assalamu Alaykum Loren. This was a fun video. I am also from Texas, I am a Mexican American Muslim, so it’s fun to hear you say you love Mexican food. My husband is younger than me and Uzbek, and I am always trying to introduce him to Mexican food. Slowly converting him to a Mexican food lover lol. I would take traditional Uzbek dishes and combine them with Mexican flavors, eventually introducing him to handmade tortillas, sopes, and fresh salsas (he never ate spicy food and pepper was too much for him before lol) Anyway, just wanted to share a little bit about my journey as Mexican American Muslim married to an Uzbek man who never ate spicy food and trying to make him a Mexican food lover hehehe. @@saraleena007 Why are you asking about Taco Bell? 1. They didn’t eat at Taco Bell, so not sure why you are asking about that specific restaurant. 2. They(KZbinrs) also eat at Chick-fil-A and it’s not halal nor Kosher. 3. If you are asking about me, not likely lol, then I am not sure I am happy that you assume I would be going to Taco Bell, or if that is what you consider Mexican food. That is not Mexican food at all. As I mentioned in my original post, I make food. Yes, I converted, so I have eaten “regular food”, yes I have tasted pork. When my husband came to America he ate at restaurants, just like them, not considering if it was halal or not, but he didn’t consider because in his country the majority of restaurants are halal and they don’t even ask nor are there signs because it is just assumed. I decided to go to halal shops and recreate all these foods, burgers from Chick-fil-a, pizza with meat, wings. Anything he craved I made with halal meat. No shops provide Turkey ham, deli items so I have to go to a Kosher HEB and buy super expensive deli items to make him a simple sandwich, but it is okay. We are doing it the halal way, and I don’t want my husband to burn in hell because I am lazy to cook for him and just want go to a restaurant. 4. Now back to the KZbinr, she mentioned in this video about religion being a personal thing, so I honestly feel that your comment is a backhanded comment, although it could be genuine worry. So let’s assume the first, I really don’t think you think that there is a halal Taco Bell(although as I mentioned before, that is obviously not TacoBell) in Texas. Your comment makes it seem like you are attempting to sound dumb but trying to say “You are not eating halal food, bad girl.” 4. If you are being judgy your comment bothers me. We could say, that their tight clothes at the gym are not modest. We could say that I saw her tummy in this video, that’s not modest. We could say that she is wearing nail polish and that her wudu doesn’t count, so she really isn’t praying. We could say, do you really wash off your make up and reapply when you take your wudu. There are so many things, but I also am learning. It takes people time to learn and reach the point that all we do is pleasing to God. Please don’t leave comments that judge other women/girls. They have their own journey with God. 5. Now, if you were genuinely asking about Taco Bell, then please ignore 1-4. (But that was not Taco Bell lol). For all we know the Mexican restaurant buys halal meat. I used to go to a Peruvian restaurant and they bought only halal chicken. Anyway May God guide you and all of us down the right path. I think numerous people have told them that their prayers don’t count if they knowingly eat haram food. Hopefully they will see that eating halal is actually very important. Oh and if you were genuinely asking, #5 applied to you. I just have received SO many of these comments on their videos, and they are more of the angry posters, so I just write long replies hahaha.
