Eating Whatever I Catch while fishing and crabbing from a Florida Saltwater Pier ONLY! We head out to go saltwater fishing at a pier in North Florida with a mission - eat whatever I catch. What kind of fish would be around a pier like this?? We attempt to catch clean and cook whatever we hook into.. I did not expect for this to happen..
Again, I want to thank each and every one of you for the support! At the time of this upload we just passed 532,000 I'm having so much fun making these videos, lets keep this rolling!

This guy has no farms, no quads, no guns. He doesn't hunt turkeys, doesn't build boats, doesn't dumpster dive. Heck, he isn't a army veteran. He's just a guy from Delaware and he's fishing. That's why I love him. Keep it real, keep it simple!

For the plants: they needed a lot more light. When the seedlings are thin and stretching like that it is typically cause they don't have enough light which is the main thing plants need a lot of. A cheap grow light for 12 hours a day would be sufficient for leafy greens. Good luck growing! 👍

Also, would love to see more crabbing videos especially hand lining and netting them. My wife and I are going to fort george inlet this weekend and we'll be trying it out for the first time!

Sea Robin catch and cook wouldn't be a problem! It's a delicacy in Europe, they call them Gurnard over there and they are usually cooked in a stew or a soup.

Local in that area here, if you ever go back out there, bring shrimp with you and throw off the end of the pier out deep or acouple feet past the edge. Really good fishing with those dead shrimp.

When my family goes fishing in NJ we will always eat Sea Robins, however only if we catch really big ones, they do not have much meat on them, so the bigger ones are better.

For crabbing, you need to leave the chicken out in the heat for a day or two. The stronger the stink, the faster it attracts the crabs. Turkey necks work really well too.

I enjoy your content. It’s always interesting to see how other people fish. I’m 56 yes old. And I have been fishing since I was barely able to walk. I’m from Texas and fish fresh and salt water. You mentioned wanting a boat. Can I recommend getting a Jon Boat with a small motor. Maybe a 10 to 14 footer. They are very easy to maintain. Easy to haul around. And as far as getting they in and out of the water, you couldn’t ask for an easier boat to handle. And you have a blank canvas as for what you can do to dress the out. With and small trolling motor you can hit the back water with ease. I have a 14 foot old town canoe. It’s not as stable as a Jon Boat. I wish I had gotten a flat bottom Jon Boat instead. Anyway, just a suggestion. Keep up the the good work.

Years back I fished several times with a Charter Boat Capt out of Montauk LI. Anytime we caught a Sea Robin. He told me to toss it in the Cooler. I thought he was saving them for Fluke bait but no! I was surprised to hear that he enjoyed eating them. It was years later during a slow day of fishing that I caught a few Large Sea Robins & decided to try them for dinner. Even Large Robins are mostly Head but there is enough meat to make it worth while. Cooked them up & served them to my family. They were good. Everyone liked them. Definitely worth keeping if UR target species isn't cooperating. Some, like that Capt prefer them. Only take the large ones or it's not worth the effort.

Hey, love the video's. I have a couple tips for cooking crab's, when catching legal size crab's, take them and a bucket filled with the same water that U caught them in and cook the crab's in the salt water. Makes them sweeter. And inside the head of the crab's watch out for the dead man's finger's they are known to have poisoned and have killed people who eat them.

Love the crabbing because like you im from the Mid Atlantic. In Maryland the crab is king, looks like in Florida your the only one that cares 😂. Next your gonna need a boat and 1000ft of trotline! You got the boat thing also dont let people scare you. Take a course just learn the basics. It’s all common sense mostly anyways.

The “crab butter” is the liver, also just fat as you said. Not a bad idea to avoid it as it usually contains a lot of toxins. Most frightening being paralytic shellfish poising. Then again, you’d probably need to consume a lot of it to be affected. Wanted to ask if you spike your crabs before boiling, or drop in live. Found alittle later in life that killing the crab immediately before boiling reduces adrenaline in the meat, making it taste better. Also gotta be abit more humane. Anyways, keep it up! Been enjoying your channel alot

You’re not far off. It’s the hepatopancreas and is responsible for filtering impurities from the blood of the crab or other Arthropods. Needless to say it has many toxins even though some enjoy its flavor. Those folks are wild.
