Now on my to do list. Thanks for the great idea. Looks fabulous. Also, thanks for the heads up about the Food Dictator. I went to the blog found a interesting recipe for Georgian Pork Mtsvadi using pork collar. Having traveled a bit in Georgia I'm looking forward to attempting that then on to your pulled goat next. Our family had nice results with goat cooked in a Moroccan Tagine style so these others meats are great to see. Look forward to more.

I'm so glad I could help put you together with TFD! I've got a Berkshire Pork Collar in the freezer - maybe I will try that recipe too! Thanks as always for watching! P.S. - Don't tell Darth that he's just a giant tagine - he'll get a complex!

Would this work with goat shoulders?
@BehindTheFoodTV Жыл бұрын
Absolutely - but with shoulder there's a lot more connective tissue to break down so you will likely have to cook it longer and get up to temps north of 205-210F.
@Thejurzeedevil Жыл бұрын
@@BehindTheFoodTV thank you! I tried it and it was delicious. The sauce and the smoked goat! I got the temperature up to 210 but I couldn't pull the meat close to the bone as easy you did in your video with my hands. Going to try it again and maybe next time i will get the shoulder a little better hotter maybe 215?
