Now that it is winter here in Michigan I am going to utilize the cold weather and set up shop in my lil outdoor bar and giving the tamale sausage a try. I was wondering if there is a simple quick answer to how you guys "layered" in the tamales in the tube? I.e. every other handful or crumbled in each handful? This lil bit of info would be greatly appreciated. Johnny in Michigan! Oh I almost forgot... I purchased 2 of those instant read thermometers (one is for my dad) they are great!
