Fabulous work once again. Mental health issues are so important to recognize and deal with. Before I retired I (with a few others) was certified in Mental Health First Aid for our university. Hello again AL! This is a great episode. About a year ago I purchased the products (.75hp grinder and stuffer) from Meat! Haven't used it since late summer. Now that it is winter here in Michigan I am going to utilize the cold weather and set up shop in my lil outdoor bar and giving the tamale sausage a try. I was wondering if there is a simple quick answer to how you guys "layered" in the tamales in the tube? I.e. every other handful or crumbled in each handful? This lil bit of info would be greatly appreciated. Johnny in Michigan! Oh I almost forgot... I purchased 2 of those instant read thermometers (one is for my dad) they are great!

@saustin151 Thank you sir, nothing much can be done. I just gotta keep moving forward. I know at least that he's no longer in pain. He had a bunch of health issues and other personal issues that just became too much. I had just talked to him the night before. He was crying and i listened and then i tried to prop him up. Encourage him to get past the most recent issue. So im just processing everything still. Reading other people's comments about him is a great reminder of the person i knew.

Mike I'm so sorry it took me a couple of days to get to your comment. Bill is right (that's @saustin151 that answered you - Bill Dumas from the show) - find someone to talk to about it and him. And feel free to reach out to me any time if you need help. You can DM me on FB or IG and I always respond myself. -Al

So sorry to hear about his son Sam. As he began to talking about his son Sam and showed the pictures of him in the paint, and singing dark music it came across my mind that he would take his own life. It's one of those moments you hope you'll be wrong. We all need The Light that is found in God's Son Jesus Christ. He still saves today if we will call on His name, believing on His death and resurrection for our sin. He loves you.

He's down at Schulze's Pit Room in Seguin - definitely worth the trip even if just for that brisket boudin - but try it all!
