You make some good points. I have stayed in the Haven on multiple NCL ships. When I get home from the cruise I tell myself there is no deed to spend that much money on a cruise since there is so much to do on the ship. Sure enough when its time to book again, I book the Haven. However I dont cruise as much as I used to. No way I can afford a Haven cruise every year. So now I cruise every so many years.

For the money that you would waste staying in this "exclusive" area, you would actually sail with a quality, upscale cruise line. But there is no end of people being foolish with their money, so you have this. Well done, Norwegian.

You answered a question I always wanted to know. No stairs to get to Haven facilities from your cabin. All suites must take an elevator. I am used to staying in the Haven and walking down the hall to breakfast. I wonder what its like waiting for an elevator to get there. Does it make you feel like an outsider?

The elevator bank is tucked away, so it is private. We didn’t feel like an outsider at all.

A lot of people do think it is worth it. We are cruising in Nov and Dec and the Haven was the first area to sell out.

I’m always tempted by the “ship within a ship” VIP/concierge concept, but then it kind of just looks boring. And when I do the math, it pencils out to I’d rather cruise on an ultra-premium line. The math just doesn’t math and the perks don’t perk enough.

Since 2015 we have done 4 NCL Haven cruises Breakaway x2, Encore, Joy. We are booked for a Transatlantic 11 day Spain to NYC on Prima Aft Owners Haven deluxe lg balcony. In 2023. The Breakaway class Haven ships all have an indoor pool for Haven guests, does the Prima? I like the elevators for Haven guests only on Prima, the Breakaway class uses crew / freight elevators in port only for Haven guests. Note The Joy does not have Sauna/ Steam room in the Haven. The Breakaway and Encore did . It appears Prima has a Sauna and cold room. The Haven Resturant appears bigger on Prima then Breakaway class. Also - do not ever book the forward facing Haven suite on a Breakaway class Unless you don't mind walking thru a narrow hallway usually crowded with other guests, room service and house keeping carts, half way down the length of the ship 125 yards to access the mid ship elevators Thank you for the video

You can certainly still have a great cruise on NCL Prima without staying in the Haven!
