* Ice Cube said he doesn’t go to funerals. He likes to remember people how they were alive, not dead. * Dre mentioned in a couple of interviews that it wouldn’t have been right, and it was iffy. Safety could have been a concern because they had only recently began speaking again by the time Eazy died. * People want to believe the worst narratives. Eazy wasnt leaving Ruthless, Eazy owned Ruthless. Now its true he had dismissed Jerry from Ruthless theres a fact that alot of ppl dont speak about& I think it shows Jerry was a great guy. JERRY HATED ICE CUBE til the day he died because of Cubes lyrics "Get rid of that Devil real simple with a bullet to his temple" "U let a Jew break up my crew" & so on. Jerry told EAZY A NWA REUNION WOULD BE THE BIGGEST ALBUM& TOUR & HE WASNT GOIN TO STAND N THE WAY. He would gladly step away if he was stopping the reunion&return when it was over. I think it was late Dec 94 when Eazy had given Jerry the papers having him no longer at Ruthless. Eazy&BOne went to NYC & Eazy had a meeting at a club called THE TUNNEL. Eazy asked Cube about a NWA REUNION&TOUR. CUBE SAID HES DOWN IF JERRYS NOT INVOLVED, TO WHICH EAZY REPLIED I JUST LET JERRY GO. Cube said what about Dre&E said thats no problem. Its widely reported Eazy let Jerry go in the end &ppl assume he was stealing. I think it was Jerry keeping his word that he wasnt going to stand n the way of a NWA REUNION ALBUM & TOUR. I dont think its a coincidence that it was less than 2wks after Eazy split with Jerry that hes sitting down talking with Jerrys number 1 enemy about the reunion. Another thing ppl dont bring up, when ICE CUBE was in a BEASTIE BOYS Impersonation band CIA, CUBE HAD JERRY AS A MANAGER. Its portrayed as Eazy brought in Jerry but in reality JERRY WAS MANAGING CUBE WITH CIA, DR DRE & YELLA N THE WORLD CLASS WRECKING CREW BEFORE HE EAZY MET JERRY. BUT THAT DOESNT GO ALONG WITH ICE CUBES, THIS DEVIL GOT A HOLD OF EAZY & SCREWED US.
