This is a great explanation of the Rank 31 speedrun and I really enjoyed watching it! I'd like to mention a few more things that I think will help people out if they try this speedrun: 1. I don't know if this will affect everyone, but in later rounds, my game lags massively whenever I move my mouse, especially over objects. In a way, I think this makes the run more interesting. I didn't expect a Tower Defense speedrun to have mechanics like optimizing mouse movement! 2. If someone is playing in Flashpoint, they'll have to delete their saved files before each Rank 31 attempt. I made a shortcut in Windows to the folder "C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player" and before each run, I delete everything in that folder. 3. The Super Monkey Storm does not give rank points! I only learned this recently (with the help of a viewer!) and want to try a better run where I avoid using Super Monkey Storm at all. I feel like there is a lot of room for improvement in the run. I think it'd be great if this video led to more people trying the run and maybe discovering some new tech that they use to achieve new records! I've had a lot more fun doing Rank 31 runs than I'd expected, so I hope other people will get a lot of fun out of it, too!

Btd 4 doesn't really get laggy until your entire map is nothing but sun gods. Once that's done, you can go on forever if your device can handle the lag and battery usage. Btd 4 only downfall is that the level difficulty basically gets capped.

It’s really all about the tack shooters and mortors. The ring of fire is by far the most efficient final tower in the game. A dozen or so of those plus the triple mortors and whirlwind wizards is unstoppable lol

Boomerangs were overpowered this game. BTD4 tends to send dense rounds and lightsaber throwers are a perfect counter to that. You can beat half the maps with only boomerangs and monkey beacon. Also, it may be just me, but it seems lightsaber throwers do extra damage to MOABs.

There’s a glitch that allows you to put a monkey buccaneer anywhere you can put a dart monkey. If you hotkey switch from dart monkey to buccaneer at the exact same time you click you’ll put down a buccaneer on dry land. It’s OP once you have the timing down, and used in the WR for easy track 1 which was set on Flashpoint. Might have to see if it works with road spikes/monkey glue too.

I had a BTD 4 Save, where i had enough Sun Gods which made me complete every round. At a certain point it just lagged itself to death. But it could handle everything which was thrown at it.

I usually start with a dart monkey where you put your first bomerang monkey. Then i upgrade him to spikopult and set him to target last, then i put a bomb tower in that first curve and set him to target strong, then i spam the crap out of the dartling guns

BTD 6 needs to bring back the track editor in their base game so we can have some fun with custom challenge tracks. But since it's the modern era and no longer the olden days of flash we should have the option to work on a 'grid' base where everything is separated into evenly spaced tiles like in BTD 4, or a 'drag n drop' mode where we can place an entrance on any of the 4 sides of the map and then drag the track from one place to another, then curve it. Like the line tool in paint.net, once you make a line, you then have 4 dotted locations on said line that allow you to move them closer or further away to make curved lines. Using this method, you could also edit a BTD 6 track in the same way and then connect another path to it using a 'snapping' function that auto aligns track together using a pre-built pathfinder system. It might be a hefty update but I guarantee it'd bring BTD 6 more players. As it stands I have severe trouble finding people to match with in both games and the people I often do match with just spam powers like cash drops. I'm thinking the next few changes should be added/fixed in their next big update: Track Creator/Challenge Editor combination. Make it so we can actually CREATE a multiplayer match with custom rules and not restrict public access for stupid unspecified reasons. In said custom multi-player lobby matches, allow us to restrict the total number of certain powers you can use. Like the Odyssey mode where it limits cash drops to 5 and other powers to 10 or so. This means no more power spamming unless you've specifically allowed it in your custom lobby.
