As my priority date is may 2023 and i have submitted DS260 and now due to retrogression - Is there a chance of retrogression being upgraded in upcoming months ?? Should i have to wait for more 1-2 years ?? Hope u will reply

You will still have to wait till the dates become current in the visa bulletin and you get the interview date, it shouldn’t be 1-2 years hopefully less than that
